Pop Up Caribbean RedLeg Rum Shack

The UK’s newest Caribbean spiced rum RedLeg, is opening a Caribbean Rum Shack in London’s Shoreditch. If you like rum or even Reggae and Dub music and want to escape the winter festivities for an evening, then RedLeg Rum has a little slice of the Caribbean for you this December.

RedLeg invite you to take a step into their rum shack and forget about city life for a moment. The double floored space will let you experience a unique range of RedLeg’s signature serves upstairs, served by Chris Hare himself, - RedLeg’s own mixologist. Meanwhile the lower floor will be transformed into a unique space for lovers of art, Reggae, Dub and live music.

The shack will be serving a range of RedLeg’s most popular cocktails including their ‘Hot Rum Slap’, perfect for the December climate consisting of hot ginger beer, hot apple juice, cinnamon gomme and spiced rum, a ‘Ginger Mojito’ and a ‘Can’t Rumember’ which is a tasty combination of rum, chocolate and banana.

Completing the experience is Reggae specialist; Dub Vendor, who have been importing and selling the very latest Jamaican music in the UK since 1976. Dub Vendor will be popping up inside the rum shack giving visitors the opportunity to brows their collection, listen to and buy their vinyl records. This is a one off opportunity for fan as Dub Vendor’s record store closed down in 2011 and they now operate as an online service only.

As well as operating as a bar offering innovative bespoke signature cocktails, the RedLeg rum shack will be providing glass bottled Red Stripe and Guinness FEX.
