NORTHERN LIGHTS: A COLLABORATIVE EXHIBITION OF STUDENTS AND GRADUATES FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF WESTMINSTER.
Exposing new talent from students to professionals. The University of Westminster's finest have come together to showcase a collection of winter inspired wonders. Works, which will range from photography, sculpture, installation and moving image, are bound to surprise and delight all audiences!
Northern Lights will feature a selection of works by the award winning artist Marco Bohr who complited his PHD at the University of Westminster.
At 7:30 pm during the Launch we will air an exclusive instrumental performance written by a Swedish composer Johnathan Ostlund, inspired by his sightings of the aurora borialis.
Artists in the show: Heysoo Choi, Jade Conneely, Don Duong, Rosa Farber, Xiabo Fu, Katherine Giannini, Sue Goldschmidt, Paula Gortazar, Ki Jeal, Zaeina Kostelman, Nabeelah Moosun, Erika Shiotsu, Christina Stohn, Monica Valcarcel, Jenny Waugh.
The exhibition curator Alina Grigorjan is a Westminster graduate herself, who has worked for such organisations as Pushkin House, Calvert 22, FOLD Gallery, and Russian Art and Culture. She is currently pursuing a career as a freelance curator and gallery assistant.
