On staging the competition, founder and director of FIneart4kids Emmylou Yeomans said: ‘I think children in Britain are getting a bad reputation for only being interested in TV and computer games, I wanted children to spend time creating a piece of work that they can be proud of and to have the confidence to show everyone exactly what they can do when they are being truly inspired.’
