Magic belongs to the night.

The man with an axe in his hands is one of the magicians. He cordially invites you to enter the dimly lit, theatre of dungeon like appearance. Intimate, atmospheric, kooky and creaky, and yet an absolute hidden gem in London's theatre land. London's first theatre dedicated to the art of magic and illusion for many years. The afternoons belong to the family audience, but as darkness falls and that moon casts its spell, we invite you to sit back with a beer or glass of wine in your hand (spirits also welcome, in more ways than one) and soak up an hour of magic and illusion which happens literally under your very eyes, the magic is that close.

Strange and Weird, to sharp tongued comedy magic. An ever changing programme of magic suited to the hours of darkness. NO KIDS. Sorry.. (14 years minimum please.)

Created by Richard Leigh who is the artistic flair behind this theatre of magic and presenter of 'The Magic Cavern' which is London's longest running magic show for a family audience. Over 1000 performances at this theatre, over 11 years, and counting.

The 'After Dark' series of magic shows are produced by Richard Leigh and are presented by guest magicians. Each show is one hour and fifteen minutes. There is no interval.

Close up magic is presented in the auditorium before the show starts and the bar of 'The Curtains Up' public house which is above the theatre awaits your company after the show.

Come on in. It won't hurt you!
