Spring is finally in the air, bringing with it an abundance of delicious flavours to the table. Not least among these is new-season lamb with pink, rosy coloured flesh that is meltingly tender and more subtle than darker-fleshed summer or autumn lamb.
The last thing you want to be doing is slaving over a hot oven on these warmer days, so head over to Hunter 486 restaurant near Marble Arch, where you can enjoy dishes designed to celebrate this seasonal delight, such as Confit Shoulder of Lamb with Grilled Kidneys, Dauphinoise Potatoes and Sauce Paloise; Roast Lion of Baby Lamb with Aubergine, Mint Compote, Sarladaise Potatoes and Madeira Jus; and Braised Lamb Shank with Flageolet Beans, Smoked Sausage and Toasted Crumbs.
The menu will run from 7 April to 11 May 2014, with one Lamb dish available each week. Guests can enjoy these classic dishes in the stylish Hunter 486 restaurant located within The Arch London, which features gleaming leather booths, quirky glass chandeliers and a buzzing yet intimate atmosphere.
