“The more that you learn, the more places you'll go” said the wise Dr Seuss. Learning just got infinitely more fun with the launch of Hotel Chocolat’s Cocoa Vaults, an exclusive space dedicated entirely to chocolate in the heart of London’s theatre land, Covent Garden.
It is incredibly rare that a chocolatier is involved in all parts of the chocolate making process. By being there right from the very start, at the roots of the cacao tree, we’re able to be involved in every single stage. We grow the cacao, we harvest it, we roast it, grind it, conch it and make it into chocolate.
Cocoa Vaults is a beautiful and intimate underground venue where you will learn the delicate art of chocolate-making under careful tuition from a talented chocolatier. Using freshly roasted cocoa beans grown on our very own Rabot Estate in Saint Lucia, you’ll learn how to make chocolate entirely from scratch with our Bean to Bar Experience. After an expert tempering demonstration, you will then pipe your own bar of chocolate to take home; a souvenir of your trek from bean to bar.
