Right Recordings Showcase

Right Recordings is an independent, London-based record label founded in 1995 by John Kaufman and David Landau who are dedicated to discovering and developing new exciting talent from across many genres. The evening’s performance features a selection of Right Recordings latest signed artists:

Maddy Carty is a London-born singer/songwriter and ex-BRIT School student inspired by Bob Marley, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder. She will perform tracks from her debut album including her single Get It Right, which was produced by Chris Peckings and features samples from the classic Skatalite’s track Naked City.

Koukie is a London-based artist who graduated from London College of Music in 2011 whose debut, solo 2014 album Songs From An Empty Space fuses rock opera with gypsy, punk and cabaret into a fireball of sound.

Matt Backer is a leading guitarist and songwriter who has worked with wide range of artists including Emilia Mitiku, Aimee Mann, Steve Earle, Emmylou Harris, Laura Mvula, and Alice Cooper, amongst others. He will be performing tracks from his latest album, Idle Hands.

FosseyTango is a London-based duo comprising John Fossey (producer/songwriter & video director) and Kayatano aka Kevin Eaton (producer, songwriter & singer). Together they are currently the live house band at Kensington Roof Gardens & Floripa (Shoreditch), and are both Sony ATV Publishing songwriters.

Less Than Sober are an Indie/Pop/Rock band from Saltcoats who released their debut single ‘Wanted’ in 2013.

There are no tickets – seats are on a first come, first served basis but as many of the events reach capacity early arrival is highly recommended.
