Selections from The Road Goes Ever On by J.R.R. Tolkien set to music by Donald Swann, and songs by Michael Flanders and Donald Swann performed by Hazel Morgan and Christopher Roberts.
Donald Swann was a member of Wandsworth Quaker Meeting and the evening will include short, personal memories from those who knew him.
Hazel Morgan (soprano) is a Graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. She has sung and recorded with the LSO Chorus and London Philharmonic Choir, and the Handel Opera Chorus.
Christopher Roberts (piano) studied at the Royal Manchester College of Music. In 1975 he won a major award to study Repetiteuring at the London Opera Centre. He is a member of the Bartholdy Trio.
