Heleness - 4 hour DJ set

Join us for the first event in the Canal Cafe, in the sames premises that very recently was the world famous inSpiral lounge. Although there will be less events than inSpiral lounge, some things won't change including the good vibes, good music, Opus sound, vegan food and prime location.

Heleness, a DJ born of a mental breakthrough, encouraging others, through music, to have one too. A classically-trained pianist and singer who came to London on a path lined with opera, punk, hard house and drum’n’bass, DJ Heleness brings fierceness to the art of mixing music, with her ace tune selection and seamless versatility. Heleness became a DJ in 2013, and started playing for Kick Radio with a regular Sunday afternoon show 4-6pm. Her most recent residencies though are with Decadence, House of Blue and Lucha Britannia. Carefree and refreshingly gutsy, with enough energy to fuel a five-day bender, Heleness brings to you blistering, punchy breakbeats and DnB, tribally techno, hypnotic tech house, sleazily grinding electro, to more mellow deep house and tropical Afro and Balearic beats. Now surrounded by the wildest people in the city, Heleness has become a regular fixture in London's nightlife, becoming the soundtrack to fun.
