Performance Workshop: Creating Performance Using Movement And Text

Come and spend an evening with some of the best, brightest and most inspiring theatre, dance and movement practitioners in the country. Learn new skills, release hidden talents, improve your practice and create new work.

This workshop is open to everybody and is the second of a series of ten on Monday evenings at Conway Hall. We'll guide you if you are a newcomer and stretch you if you are an experienced professional.

This event will be led by Lydia Cottrell.

Lydia Cottrell is a dancer, performer, artist, cosmonaut and apocaloptimist. She has created and performed her award winning work both nationally and internationally. In this workshop she will share aspects of her process and lead a series of tasks exploring how to generate movement from text and using verbatim techniques in performance.
