Studio 3 Arts is looking for artists of all disciplines to show work at our Gallery in our newly-developed arts centre in Barking.

We would like to invite visual artists, film makers, theatre makers, dancers, poets, performance artists and musicians to show work with us. If you’re testing a new piece, looking for a venue for your first exhibition or interested in engaging with a new audience, then we’d love to hear from you. We are interested in supporting artists and companies at a range of career points.

We’re hoping to build a diverse programme of exhibitions, performances, screenings, happenings and installations at our venue that will offer audiences an outstanding artistic experience and add a new dynamic to our own in-house work. We will launch the programme in March and offer residencies ranging from 1 day to 1 month. Local people from Barking and Dagenham will work with us to curate the space.

Whilst we can’t offer you a fee to show your work, we will host a private view with you and promote your work to our mailing lists and professional networks.

The Gallery is 7.5m x 4.6m and 2.8m high.

To apply, please send a CV, information about your proposed piece, at what time in the year you’d like to show, and 2 links to images/footage of your previous work online (where applicable) to [email protected]. Emails should be no larger than 2mb in size.

Closing date: 05.02.16
Shortlisting will take place: w/c 08.02.16
Informal meetings will take place: w/c 15.02.16 onwards
