An Evening With Dave Liebman & Royal Academy Jazz

Legendary US saxophonist and NEA Jazz Master, Dave Liebman, is in residence at the Royal Academy of Music jazz department. He presents a one-off public talk entitled Dave's Experience With His Mentors: Miles Davis and Elvin Jones. This is a unique opportunity to hear Dave talk about his time with these seminal figures and the influence they had, and continue to have, on him personally and the music scene as a whole. Dave is a famously entertaining and engaging public speaker so this is an opportunity not to be missed; a first-hand glimpse into jazz history. Following Dave's talk he will play a set of music associated with both Miles and Elvin with the outstanding students from the famous Royal Academy of Music jazz department.
