Duke Senior, banished by his brother, Duke Frederick, now lives in the unsettling forest, with his gang of trusting lords. Senior’s daughter, Rosalind, has been allowed to remain at court with Frederick’s daughter Celia; but eventually Frederick’s displeasure progresses, and she is banished to join her father. Disguised as a boy Rosalind stumbles across her love, Orlando, within the forest and a beguiling game of love, lust and confusion is set in motion.
