Sophie Pullen(soprano) and Natalie Burch(piano)

Sophie will explore two of literature’s young, beautiful and morally incorrigible women who became iconic characters in the opera canon. Manon of Prevost’s L’Histoire du Chevalier Des Grieux et de Manon Lescaut and Violetta taken from Dumas’ ‘La Dame aux Camelias’. Both women abandon their lovers and succumb to their inevitable fate – an early death.

Opera Prelude is a small charity passionate about supporting young professional opera singers who give lecture recitals in London. These friendly and inclusive events will introduce you to the international opera singers of tomorrow by way of recitals, concerts and masterclasses.
