HMM present Sweeney Todd - The Demon Barber of Fleet Street at the Kenneth More Theatre, Ilford, on 2-4 March 2017.

Following on from our highly-successful production of The Pirates of Penzance at the Kenneth More Theatre in February, and our wonderful Annie at the Queen’s Theatre in July, HMM is going to try something new – a Sondheim musical!

The show will let us tell you the tale of Sweeney Todd... also known as Benjamin Barker, who returns to London after being wrongly deported for a crime he didn't commit by a villainous judge. Sweeney sets up a barber shop and forms a sinister partnership with pie shop owner, Mrs Lovett, where his clients get more than a close shave.

Arguably Stephen Sondheim’s most well-known work, this is a dark and comic musical story of betrayal, love and bloody revenge - all served up in the worst pies in London!

Sweeney Todd will be playing at the Kenneth More Theatre in Ilford at 7.30pm nightly from Thursday 2 to Saturday 4 March 2017, with a Saturday matinée at 3pm. Tickets are just £16.00 each (£15.00 for concessions and £13 for KMT Club Members, if paying one week in advance). We are also offering one free ticket for every 10 booked: so if you book 11 tickets you will get 1 of those free. Book early to avoid disappointment and make sure you get your favourite seats!
