Shane Shambhu, Complicite Associate, brings his inimitable wit, charm and a mesmerising command of movement to create the humorous, honest and multi-lingual solo Confessions of a Cockney Temple dancer. Seamlessly shifting between different art forms he ponders his life of growing up in the east end of London and performing Indian dance in Britain. Through his versatility as a performer he takes audiences on an incredible journey, from temple rituals of India to the bad-boy streets of London. Recalling moments from his past this show will move you from tears to laughter as we reflect on what it means to be British today.
