Words in Motion Presents: Poetry Goes Pop! with Varjack & Simpson

Join us for our first open mic music and poetry night here at Poplar Union. Hosted by Varjack & Simpson, Poetry Goes Pop! sees poetry take on pop culture, where spoken word meets Never Meet The Buzzcocks. We’ll smash apart new and old poetry with interludes of performances, paired with special guests and ridiculous silly games!

Everyone is welcome from complete beginners to the most accomplished, so why not give it a go yourself and sign up to take part on the night? Playing with words has never been this fun!

Sign up is from 7 - 8pm on a first come, first served basis. You can perform up to 2 songs or 10 mins. Cover and/or original songs welcome!
