The Nudge’s Great Gatsby Party

The Nudge and The Guild of Misrule invite you to the unmissable social occasion of the year: Jay Gatsby’s Party.

To celebrate the six week run of The Great Gatsby at VAULT Festival, The Nudge are throwing two hedonistic parties full of jazz and liquor and excess, deep underground on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th February, from 9pm – 3am.

The Guild Of Misrule and The Immersive Ensemble have joined forces with The Nudge to curate nights full of red hot jazz, bootleg liquour and a cornucopia of secrets and surprises. The Gatsby Parties take place across The Vaults, filling the arches and stretching in to secret caverns and illicit lounges. Guests might spend the whole evening dancing in the main hall; you might find a secret burlesque show by invitation only; you might be treated to a one on one soul gig; or be entertained by a magician right at your table. These are parties full of big moments and intimate encounters – but always surprising and always thrilling.

The main hall will feature some stunning live performance. Expect to learn the Charleston before dancing the night away to a live and swinging jazz band. Stick around for a set from our resident DJ before the headline act for the night – Gypsy-Folk-And-Roll band Holy Moly & The Crackers.

Elsewhere you might encounter acrobat and tricker Zac Smith or a show from Burlesque performer Caroline Peggy De Lune. Find magician John Bullied, member of The Inner Magic Circle, for some up close and breathtaking trickery. And be sure to keep an eye for Jay Gatsby himself, the ever aloof party host.

Across the myriad corridors, bars and boudoirs of VAULT Festival, The Guild Of Misrule and The Immersive Ensemble are creating two truly unforgettable nights of splendour and debauchery. Get dressed to the nines, bring your dancing shoes, and come join the party to end all parties – a glass of Perrier Jouet in hand.
