Celebrating 100 years of British Advertising in partnership with Google and Channel 4

Advertising is all around us. Love it or hate it you can't get away from it. And the UK leads the way.

Adverts influence our consumption behaviour, shape our aspirations and can be agents of social change. Advertising is a force to be reckoned with.

The Festival of British Advertising - a free exhibition - is a celebration of the very best of British creativity from the past 100 years. From the PG Chimps to the Smash Martians and the Cadbury's drumming gorilla; from Lord Kitchener's Your Country Needs You to John Lewis Buster the boxer; the exhibition is full to the brim with bright ideas and arresting images that has captivated the British public and helped map out our cultural history.

The Exhibition is complemented by a series of live events across London hosted by celebrities and industry luminaries. Please see the link below to find out more.
