Dulwich Choral Society perform J.S. Bach’s great St Matthew Passion in German, with a period-instrument orchestra and an outstanding line-up of soloists.

This performance is the culmination of the choir’s major Bach cycle under the direction of Aidan Oliver, and follows recent sell-out performances of Bach’s Christmas Oratorio and Handel’s Messiah at the Old Royal Naval College Chapel, Greenwich.

Joined by Tenor Nicholas Mulroy as the Evangelist, Bass-Baritone Stefan Loges as the Christus, Mhairi Lawson (soprano), Annie Gill (contralto),Rupert Charlesworth (tenor) and Robert Davies (baritone), with Sinfonia Britannica; conducted by Aidan Oliver.
