The Brick Lane Gallery is proud to present a new group exhibition, showcasing the contemporary approaches to portraiture. Including photographic portraits as well as paintings and sculptures, this show is this show brings a selection of different international artists aiming to represent the people around them.
From Jacob Sacks-Jones’s photojournalistic and documentary snapshots of our society, to Ines Elizalde and Urgart, as well as Gabor Paszti’s photographic collages this exhibition reveals the various faces of portraiture photography. Using paint and canvas, instead Manuel Nanouris presents captivating male portraits, whilst Mollie Rose’s uses this medium to create fantastical paintings of female figures with soft pastel colours. Urban artist Raphael Gindt showcases an unmissable glass sculpture, fragile in its structures but strong in its lines.
