As a part of the Colab 2017 Festival Different the Same, the Black Heather Club invites you to its latest venture: Dance Jam.

Musicians and dancers from across Europe come together in an evening of new music and new dance including Oren Marshall (tuba), Lauren Potter, Nik Baertsch (piano), Elaine Mitchener (group), Jaak Sooäär (guitar), The London Soundpainting Orchestra, Peter Nagle and Dirty Electronics.

The evening will start with a series of short performances by leaders in improvisation and jazz. Dance Jam cocktails will be on sale at the bar.

Expect the unexpected at Trinity Laban’s annual festival of collaboration and innovation, when music and dance staff and students join forces to make new work-in-progress. The fortnight is a celebration of creativity – of experimentation, playfulness and shared learning. The process of creating is as important as the product, and you the audience are there for the ride – so come along and be prepared for extraordinary things.

As the programme will be changing and evolving over the fortnight, find the full programme online and get updates on our social media channels.
