Jazz/ Open Mic/ Performance Enhancement Session

In addition to the usual superb concert from our resident band of professional musicians, we set aside part of the evening to create a unique opportunity for members of the audience to take part (if you wish). Whether you are a complete beginner or more experienced bring along your singing voice or an instrument, join in with the band and receive guidance on how to improve your performance - plus tips on working with a live band (of course you can perform solo if you prefer). So if you hold a secret desire to sing in public but never had the nerve to try, or perhaps you play an instrument and would like other musicians to accompany you, maybe you are a singer/songwriter wanting to try out your latest song on an audience, or just want to sit back and listen to outstanding musical offerings in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere with a licensed bar (handy for those who need Dutch courage!) this is the event for you. (If possible, could you bring along sheet music for the piece you want to perform – but this is NOT essential.)
