The 22nd annual long distance sponsored walk, one of the highlights of St Luke’s Hospice (Harrow)

St Luke’s provides high quality hospice care to those in Harrow and Brent with a serious progressive illness regardless of their circumstances or background. Our staff and volunteers work to enhance patients' quality of life, as well as giving support to their families. We focus on adding life to days, even when days cannot be added to life.

For the walk this year we have chosen a walk straddling the Devon-Cornwall border. It incorporates 3 waymarked routes, taking in the beautiful scenery of the western edge of Dartmoor, the river valleys and open down land linking the historic towns of Okehampton and Launceston, and the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty of the Tamar Valley. These 3 routes, the West Devon Way, the Two Castles Trail and the Tamar Valley Discovery Trail are known collectively as the West Devon Triangle. The walk will start just outside Plymouth, pass through Tavistock and Okehampton, and finish at Calstock. The total distance for the 5 days will be between 70 and 75 miles, but you can sign up to do shorter distances if that suits you best.
