Women Redressed: Act I

Sheer Height return to the Park this Spring with their hit theatre festival Women Redressed, following a sell-out run in summer 2016.

Women Redressed: Act I presents eight short plays from some of the UK’s up and coming playwrights. From the refugee crisis to mental health, Women Redressed: Act I confronts some of the biggest issues facing women today.

Sheer Height Theatre recognises an urgent need to redress the balance in the portrayal of women, both on and off the stage. Their persistent aim? To tell stories about women, plant female characters centre stage, and challenge perceptions and expectations of gender. In turbulent times, their work is more vital than ever.
