Absent Kelly Emerging: Elen C Sh#rp

March’s Emerging date brings a ton of emerging talent to Islington’s O2 Academy2, for a night of Alt/Indie.

Topping the bill, after impressing promoters Absent Kelly at a previous show, is Elen C Sh#rp, a singer and songwriter who has recently formed her five piece live band in London. Her personal style is a combination of alternative and pop rock with and elements of blues. Melodies that speak to the soul and lyrics that are inspired from the themes of life make Elen’s music beautiful and relatable.

Regal Sea will be providing support. The young indie-rock four piece, based in London, have already got a headline gig under their belt so are beginning to make a name for themselves on the Capital’s gig circuit.

Local lads, The American Estate are a four piece who are currently working on the release of their latest E.P. They play Alt/Pop influenced by the likes of David Bowie and Prince.

Joining us all the way from Yorkshire for the show is Vague. This four piece play Indie/Rock that’s dark and brooding in some places but upbeat in others, that is sure to get the crowd going.
