Yellow Spot Collective’s SPOT NIGHT presents an array of award winning short films. Key players from each of these films will join us for a post-screening Q&A to share with us their processes, how they got their films made and their insights into the industry.

On the bill:

Stutterer
An Oscar-winning short film about love and speech impediments, by first-time director Benjamin Cleary. Joining us is the film’s producer Serena Armitage, an Academy Award winning creative producer working across fiction and documentaries. Serena has produced and directed factual shows for ITV, BBC and Channel 4.

Burn the Clock
An ingenious tale of love, sex and chlamydia at 70, director David Tucker joins our Q&A. David is a BAFTA and International Emmy-nominated director of film, television and theatre, who regularly directs Holby City and EastEnders.

Pregnant Pause
Writer/Director Alice Seabright joins us with her short; a candid exploration of modern day womanhood. Starring Sally Phillips and funded by Film London.

Just Desserts
A uniquely comic short starring Alex Macqueen of The Inbetweeners and Peaky Blinders fame. Director Michael Yanny, joins our Q&A, Michael is a multi-award winning Promo Director for BBC and Channel 4.
