From the earliest days in his career as Principal Double Bass with the Academy of St. Martin's in the Fields, through to his membership of one of Europe's outstanding groups alongside John Surman, John Taylor and John Marshall, Laurence has played with some of the greatest jazz musicians on the world stage. At the same time he has been a mainstay of the pop recording world and nowadays can be heard on virtually every major film music score that is recorded here in London.

Frank Ricotti was voted Melody Maker’s Top Vibraphone player back in his teens, since when he has remained constantly in demand for his work on records, film scores, jingles and TV shows and is the first choice percussionist for many artists. While John Parricelli began his professional guitar playing career in 1982, and has since worked in a wide varieity of areas of music. Martin France has played with many of the world’s finest musicians performing on all five continents since he began performing at the age of twelve backing singers in Working Men’s clubs around Manchester. Together they are four of the most respected musicians in Europe who love to play jazz with real intensity and creativity. They are a very special group.
