Award-Winning Jazz vocalist Erin Dickins, a founding member of the iconic vocal group Manhattan Transfer, has enjoyed the kind of career singers dream about. After five years with the group she continued to expand her musical horizons, emerging as one of the top vocalists in New York. She has performed, toured and recorded with the likes of Leonard Cohen, Bette Midler, James Taylor, James Brown, Barry Manilow and Jaco Pastorius in an international career that has taken her worldwide. Recently awarded the prestigious Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist Award Erin is amongst the most highly regarded jazz singers of her generation. Tonight will be the European launch of her latest album ‘Vignettes’, an eclectic and personal compilation of one-on-one collaborations with an array of world-class musicians. The music is an exciting mix of styles and genres, designed to highlight Erin's striking vocal prowess, powerful sense of swing and sophisticated delivery.
