Directed By: Katie Henry
Written By: Bertolt Brecht. Translated by Tony Kushner
Presented By: Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts

Bertolt Brecht's striking morality play is brought into a contemporary post-truth world. Telling the story of one charitable woman and her will to do good, The Good Person of Szechwan explores whether goodness is possible in an exploitative capitalist world.

Katie Henry was recently Associate Director for War Horse China and Long Day’s Journey Into Night at Bristol Old Vic. Katie's company Stand Fast Theatre presents its first commission in 2017. Previous direction at Mountview includes Her Naked Skin and Welcome to Thebes.
