An award winning theatrical masterpiece revealing an untold story in Indian history between Mahatma Gandhi and his spiritual mentor, Shrimad Rajchandraji. A play of historic, cultural, moral and spiritual significance, the play is a captivating depiction of the pivotal role played by Shrimad Rajchandraji in the transformation of Mohandas into Mahatma. YUGPURUSH highlights the values of non-violence, truth, peace and love and its increasing importance in today’s world.
Yugpurush has completed more than 200 shows in just over 100 days in India, touching 150,000 lives in more than 50 cities. Marking its first International tour, YUGPURUSH will tour the UK from 27th April to 11th May 2017 with performances in Hindi and Gujarati. Supported by the High Commission of India (UK), the play will perform in London, Manchester, Leicester, Birmingham, Bolton and Southampton
A charitable endeavour organised by Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur with all surplus proceeds from the play being used towards the building of a new state-of-the-art 200 bed multi-specialty hospital in South Gujarat, India.
