The UK’s only touring Sinatra show approved by President of Sinatra Music Society visits Cadogan Hall (nearest Tube Sloane Square) on Friday 19th May - the only London date in its 2017 tour.
The critically acclaimed concert brings with it once again one of the world’s best Big Band Jazz Orchestras (lead by Pete Long, MD of Ronnie Scott's Jazz Orchestra and featuring players from Ronnie Scotts’ Jazz Orchestra, BBC Big Band) and two of the UK’s most talented and exciting vintage-style vocalists to present spectacular ‘50s show, Sinatra, Sequins & Swing (The Capitol Years Live!).
The show pays a stunning tribute to Sinatra’s iconic golden years at Capitol Records (1953-61), celebrating the era’s Hollywood glamour and well-loved songs, like Chicago, Night and Day, World On A String, Come Fly With Me, I’ve Got You Under My Skin. Interwoven with Capitol-era duets like Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, They Can’t Take That Away From Me, mesmerising Peggy Lee, Marilyn Monroe, Ella Fitzgerald, Bobby Darin and plenty of fun in between.
• “With a perfectly natural timbre to his voice Fitzsimmons immediately conjures up Old Blue Eyes in his glory years” – THE STAGE NEWSPAPER
• “The band play with vigor, commitment & a refreshing willingness to entertain” – EVENING STANDARD
• “Stole the show with her Marilyn-esque style and her own brand of sexy naughtiness, lovely voice and impossible curves” – LIFE MAGAZINE
• “Be sure to see it...you won’t find a better evening’s entertainment anywhere” – PRESIDENT, THE SINATRA MUSIC SOCIETY
