Delphine explores some of our deepest fears through direct and powerfully observed story telling. This is a funny, uplifting and moving piece of new writing.

Delphine is 30 years old and up to now the possibility of falling in love has only ever existed in her imagination. Now something has happened and Delphine must finally face the joys and difficulties of adult freedom. Join Delphine as she takes centre stage in her very own bedroom, enter her world and “help yourself to a mint.”

A new one woman show

"Perhaps inspired by Alan Bennett’s monologues, Pointing’s writing is funny and true ... a celebration of quiet female defiance." ???? - The Scotsman

“Actor and writer Clare Rebekah Pointing skilfully brings those fantasies to life, embodying a fragile, funny and relatable character…the writing is consistent and impressively evocative.” ???? - The List

“Delphine herself is reminiscent of Mike Leigh’s most detailed and convincing characters, appearing as a real person with a complete inner life. Clare Pointing’s performance is as clever as it is expressive.” ???? - To Do List
