Jazz/Open Mic at Horn Park

Amazing performances from the resident band of professional musicians along with a unique opportunity for members of the audience to take part (if they wish). Whether you are a complete beginner or more experienced bring along your singing voice or an instrument, join in with the band and receive guidance on how to improve your performance - plus tips on working with a live band (of course you can perform solo if you prefer). So if you hold a secret desire to sing in public but never had the nerve to try, or perhaps you play an instrument and would like other musicians to accompany you, maybe you are a singer/songwriter wanting to try out your latest song on an audience, or just want to sit back and listen to outstanding musical offerings in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere with a licensed bar (handy for those who need Dutch courage!) this is the ideal event for you. (If possible, could you bring along sheet music for the piece you want to perform – but this is NOT essential.)
