The Roca London Gallery is hosting a free event that delves into the world of branding, communication and design as part of their latest exhibition, 100 Years of Roca | 100 Years of Design. Whilst the event is free to attend, registration is required.

Joined by a panel of industry experts, the panel discussion will delve into how brands are created - from how a company develops a brand identity to how design plays a key part in communication. This is a great event to attend if you're interested in popular culture, and will be very beneficial for people starting their own business.

This discussion will be followed by drinks and networking in the Gallery's Zaha Hadid designed space.

Robert Opie is the Founder of the Museum of Brands in London. Robert saw a need to unravel the fascinating story of how consumer products and promotion had evolved since Victorian times. In 1984, after a long career in market research, he opened the first museum devoted to the history of packaging and advertising. Although the focus of Robert's research has been the history of supermarket brands, his other interests extend to other aspects of our consumer story, giving a wider context to the everyday history of marketing trends.

The discussion will be chaired by Sonia Beldom a brand consultant, trainer and TV Executive Producer.
