Join us at March’s Science Museum Lates as we team up with The Royal Society to explore the latest breakthroughs in science and the ways they could change our world.

From the future of solar power to innovation in robotics, this month’s Lates will take you on a journey from the cosmos to the nucleus. We’ll travel from the furthest reaches of space with our brand new virtual reality experience Space Descent VR with Tim Peake, to the secrets waiting to be unlocked within our DNA.

Enjoy informative talks from key figures such as science communicator Simon Watt, who will explore the future of genetics with a panel of Royal Society Research fellows, and Dr Adrian Owen who will reveal all about the ‘gray zones’ of consciousness. Plus, meet the musicologists from Jukedeck to learn about how AI is taking over the dancefloor, and learn how drugs and alcohol affect your brain with our neuroscientist bar staff.

All that and much more, including a BSL tour of Journeys Through Medicine, live music, and the chance to dress up and take #astroselfies with Tim Peake* and the Soyuz capsule he returned to earth in.
* 3D version of Tim not supplied.
