Internationally acclaimed singer and writer Sascha Ley is coming to London to perform in April, and we are delighted to announce she is leading one of her wonderful Adventure of Free Singing workshops before she leaves us.

This is an opportunity to improvise, play and explore your voice in a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere!
The workshop will include a physical + vocal warm-up and some general work on vocal technique and improvisation vocabulary. We will be learning circle songs and chants, exploring a diverse range of sound qualities and vocal colours, working very much as an ensemble with the emphasis on free singing and free improvisation.

No nerves necessary. Open your heart, fill your lungs and let's see what happens...

Level: from basic to advanced vocal skills to professional singers, instrumentalists and actors. No experience in improvisation is required.

Sascha Ley has been working as a singer, improviser, composer, actress and occasional director on stage and in front of the camera since the beginning of the 1990s. As a vocalist and a composer, she likes to move in an unconventional way, connecting jazz and free improvisation with imaginary folklore, chanson and contemporary music.
