This Lambeth Walk is a chance to explore a part of central London that has always been set apart; cast adrift by the river, cheeky, proud, a place of alternative entertainments.

350 years ago it was home to the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens later it was birthplace to the circus and the music hall. It was the home of Charlie Chaplin who walked the streets entranced by the vaudeville stars who lived here.

5 Star Review on the Footprints of London entry in TripAdvisor:

This is why I go on walks - to explore areas in London and uncover sights that I would not have come across on my own. Michael Duncan guided us on a walk in his very own neighbourhood. He was both passionate, and knowledgeable as he showed us: not one but TWO art galleries, an amazing display of graffiti art, where Royal Doulton was manufactured, the Southbank Mosaics, and so much more. Highly recommended!
