Steepways - 'Holy Smoke' Album launch show

Orginal Americana band Steepway's official album launch.

Steepways will be appearing a full five piece band including CJ Hillman on pedal steel and support from Dave Burn to launch their debut album 'Holy Smoke'

‘Holy Smoke’ was produced by Chris Clarke (Danny and the Champs) at Reservoir Studios last summer. Sonically covering a wide spectrum, from the moody ‘Ghost Walks’, with finger-picking and solo nylon string guitar with a ‘south of the border feel’ and layered harmonies, through to the almost breakneck rockabilly country of ‘Chaperone’.

Award winning instrumentalist CJ Hillman (AMA UK Instrumentalist 2017) has played with everyone including the people’s favourite Billy Bragg and will be accompanying us on pedal steel.

Opening the event will be Dave Burn (former Ahab, current Orphan Colours) playing an acoustic set from his current album, Arizona.
