Encouraging children of all ages to look at the world in new ways by taking part in a huge array of activities designed to fire up their imaginations and help them discover, experiment, tinker and create. The next theme ‘reality’ in partnership with Rolls-Royce: will host a series of events and workshops for children, schools, families and teachers focussing on design, mechanics, engineering, as well as new technologies including augmented and virtual reality. Lab Live will be a one day event – jam packed with activities exploring what 'reality' means through design, mechanics, engineering and futuristic exploration. See one of the fastest cars on earth - the Super Sonic Car and try your hand at building your own model. Experiment with drones and test fly your own creations in iOi's wind tunnel. Get creative using 3D computer design and see how your designs would be made or experience augmented and virtual reality including interacting with holograms around you or exploring the surface of Mars!
