Bank Holiday Britpop Special at Burn Down The Disco

As those darlings of Britpop, Blur, once sang “Bank Holiday comes six times a year, days of enjoyment to which everyone cheers” so let us prepare you for your upcoming “day of enjoyment” on Monday with a good old Britpop knees-up. John Power of Cast is already catering for your Britpop needs earlier on in the evening with his gig in the main room next-door, so join us after and keep the theme going as we play tons of other tunes from the era. Expect Oasis, Pulp, Blur, Supergrass, Ash, The Bluetones, Suede, Elastica, Kula Shaker, Radiohead, Manics, Charlatans, Echobelly and more!

We’ll also have our usual Britpop colouring in fun, wall of Britpop and Britpop clips on our screen to transport you back to those glory days of Euro 96, Cool Britannia and TFI Friday whilst also trying to prevent you from remembering Menswe@r ever existed.
