“the kind of special event that reminds you why people live and breathe dance music. Hats off, well played Unusual Suspects” Aimee Lawrence, Ibiza-Spotlight 2016

‘We are really selective with DJs. You won’t see any mainstream DJs on our lineups. Most of all, we care about quality and productions’ Marco Bassi (Unusual Suspects head)

Ibiza’s word-of-mouth underground techno party Unusual Suspects Ibiza returns to Egg London to celebrate the Easter fiesta on Saturday, April 15th with International guests including Oliver Huntemann, Thomas Melchior, Maayan Nidam, Valentino Kanzyani, Janina, Rick Maia, Marina Karamarko and Federico Grazzini back to back with Frank Storm.

“Being a passionate DJ means never stop searching for the new pearls which make your set special and keep you up to date’ is the key to Hamburg-based techno DJ Oliver Huntemann’s success on the dance floor. A legend in the world of underground techno whose performance schedule includes top clubs and festivals the world over, he’s also a discerning producer and the visionary behind Senso Sounds. His precise infectious grooves utilise futuristic sounds as sampled on his impressive discography, and tonight might give you a sneak peak of his forthcoming album project 'Retrospectivo' with Dubfire.

Israeli DJ/Producer Maayan Nidam won plaudits for her recent ‘Looking Through A Glass Mind’ track on Perlon and 2016 Xlr8r Podcast 428 mix and continues to evolve and challenge boundaries both in her Berlin studio and on stage. She has built a reputation as a fine DJ and producer who incorporates vinyl into her sets, which favour stripped-back and deep sounds, and many a night’s highlight comes from the most unlikely of tracks. Mayaan’s use of live dubs and improvisation on the decks makes for an exciting and unpredictable night for both the crowd and herself.

Founding father of the Slovenian Techno scene, Valentino Kanzyani’s rise started as the resident DJ at Ambasada Gavioli and word-of-mouth grew due to his impressive 3-decks technique all night long sets. After releasing his first tracks as Recycled Loops, he founded his own vinyl-only label Jesus Loved You. His list of EPs, albums and collaborations include a string of successful works on Cadenza Records, Intec and M_nus with his productions varying from deep house to tribal techno.

As well as guesting at US Ibiza, Valentino also ran his own white isle-based party Next Wave from 2011 which quickly became one of the most talked about events of the season. Many of the underground Techno and House most respected names played there, including big league artists such as Arpiar, Luciano and Ricardo Villalobos.

Hugely respected undergrounds techno visionary Thomas Melchior makes a rare UK appearance having first made a name for himself as part of electronica duo Vulva on Aphex Twins’ Rephlex label and as Yoni on Move D’s Source Records. Protégée of techno legend Bab
