Ola Latina and Cimarron Project launch their NEW monthly Latin American Live Music and Cinema Event - MAKONDO, kicking off with Film 'El Secreto de Sus Ojos' (English Subtitles) at 7pm. Directed by Juan Jose Campanella and starring Ricardo Darin and Soledad Villamil, this Argentinian murder mystery lives up to its 2010 Oscar Award. A retired legal counsellor writes a novel hoping to find closure for one of his past unresolved homicide cases and for his unrequited love with his superior - both which still haunt him decades later (124 minutes).

Followed by live music from MATICES LATINOS at 9pm. This captivating acoustic quartet explores many folkloric and popular Latin American music genres taking you through a musical journey to make you experience the true Latin American sentiment, diversity and wealth of its music. Lead by outstanding Colombian singer Luz Elena Caicedo, and musically directed by multi-percussionist Wilmer Sifontes from Venezuela
.
Situated in Balham, The Exhibit is an informal creative space with drinks, food, art, comedy, cinema + more. The venue boasts London's smallest independent boutique cinema, set with leather sofas, fully air conditioned with a capacity for 28 people and also The Gallery, a private room with a 100 + capacity with its own bar and balcony.

* Please Note: Films are shown in the boutique cinema, with limited capacity, as part of a Film & Music Combo Ticket - We recommend you buy your Combo Tickets in advance to guarantee entry to the cinema.
