Celebrating the day and the launch of the new Meditation Timer App, Will Williams hosts a very special guided meditation on the London Eye, inviting all to participate and meditate at iconic locations around the world

World Meditation Day
Monday 15th May 2017

Tickets to join the meditation on the London Eye are to be given away via ballot entry via the website.

Will Williams, founder of Will Williams Meditation, is proud to launch the globe's first World Meditation Day to raise awareness for integrating an ancient art into increasingly busy modern day life, celebrating by hosting a guided group meditation for lucky ticket winners on the Coca-Cola London Eye. Taking place on Monday 15th May 2017, Will Williams will not only mark World Meditation Day with a truly unique experience, but is also inviting the world to engage by capturing their own meditative experiences. World Meditation Day arrives alongside the Will's brand new, free-to-download Meditation Timer App, offering on-the-go the tools to hone this vital skill. The Will Williams Meditation Timer App is now available to download for free via IOS and Android. To be part of the experience on the London Eye, a very limited number of tickets are available to win via ballot entry at www.worldmeditationday.org, to be announced in May.

Using Vedic meditation as a cure for insomnia, addiction and alleviating the stresses and strains that modern life both demands and creates, Will Williams wants each individual to celebrate the world's first World Meditation Day, using the brand new Will Williams Meditation Timer App. Completely free to download, this app allows individuals to manage their daily practices. With a user-friendly interface, soothing chimes and sounds and a comprehensive stats section, this is the perfect opportunity to effectively monitor one's meditation progress.

Will Williams comments: "We want to invite anyone, from anywhere around the globe to join us in a giant group meditation on Monday 15th May. Our flagship event on the London Eye is taking place at 11am but we'd love to see pictures of your meditations from all over the globe, at whatever time using the hashtag #WorldMeditationDay.

The world in which we live is becoming more stressful by the day, we're actively encouraging people to take 15-20 minutes out of their day to relax, revitalise and recharge. For those of you around the globe that don't have a regular meditation practise, why not just take 20 minutes out of your day to sit without any distraction, shut your eyes and be. After-all, we are human beings rather than human-doings"

Whilst individuals are encouraged to share their meditation experiences from all over the world on 15th May, the London Eye will play host to a select group for a whole rotation over the city. Opened for the turn of millennium, this landmark has firmly established itself as an iconic part of London's cityscape and remains the world’s tallest cantilevered observation wheel.

Whether an experienced meditator or a beginner wanting twenty minutes out of your day to relax and unwind, World Meditation Day invites everybody in the world to join this brand new concept with a unique approach to wellbeing that inspires a community.
