The Somerset House Terrace, Presented by Peroni Ambra

The latest product in the portfolio of Italian brew master, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, was launched last night at an exclusive event in central London.

The brand-new offering, which features the crisp, refreshing taste of Peroni Nastro Azzurro together with the sharpness of Italian Chinotto, was revealed at the opening night of the ‘Somerset House Terrace, presented by Peroni Ambra’, marking a six-month partnership with the iconic venue.

In celebration, the al fresco terrace area has been transformed into a fragrant Italian Chinotto grove, designed to take guests on a multi-sensory journey of the innovative liquid and its unique taste. Pixie Geldof took to the decks and provided the backdrop of music for the evening, whilst a guest list that included actress’s Laura Pradelska and Olivia Grant, socialite Roxie Nafousi, model Richard Biedul, and singers MNEK and FEMME, relaxed by the river under a canopy of amber lighting. The eye-catching outdoor bar area launches to consumers from 31st March and will remain open until September, offering consumers an immersive environment to discover Peroni Ambra.

Guests were given the exclusive first taste of Peroni Ambra and had the chance to sample the delicious Italian aperitivo menu curated by The House of Peroni’s Master of Taste and chef Patron of Sartoria, Francesco Mazzei. The bespoke menu has been carefully curated to complement the flavour notes of Peroni Ambra, whilst transporting diners to Italy using the rich, Italian ingredients close to Francesco’s heart. The menu will feature at the Terrace throughout the summer and will include traditional aperitivo sharing boards and a range of authentic pizzas made from an on-site pizza oven.

Italian Chinotto is a rare Italian citrus fruit sourced from the region of Liguria, North West Italy. When combined with the signature Peroni Nastro Azzurro, the liquid provides a unique and refreshing taste that is perfect for any aperitivo occasion.

‘Somerset House Terrace, Presented by Peroni Ambra’ will be the first place in the UK that people will be able to sample Peroni Ambra. It will become available in a selection of bars in London before it is more widely available nationwide later in the year.
