Air New Zealand, voted Airline of the Year for the fourth consecutive year, is bringing its high-end inflight experience to Soho this April. The airline’s first ever inflight pop-up event will showcase the best of Air New Zealand’s on-board highlights with a ‘try before you fly’ offer.

Dubbed “This Is How We Fly”, the immersive two-floor Soho venue will be home to the best of long-haul flying, offering the finest food, inspired by the airline’s on-board menus designed by Peter Gordon and fellow Kiwi chef Michael Meredith. World-class New Zealand wines, entertainment and the latest innovations in seating technology will also be showcased.

Split into distinct zones, “This Is How We Fly” will take guests on an adventure that mirrors the Air New Zealand inflight journey, with guests being ‘checked in’ as they arrive. Once ‘on-board’ guests will become passengers, virtually whisked away on Air New Zealand’s London to Auckland route. Passengers can stopover in LA for a taste of the famous Californian beaches or carry on to Auckland to soak up the diverse New Zealand landscapes, experiencing two amazing destinations without their feet ever leaving the ground.

For guests looking to work, rest or play Kiwi and LA-style, the immersive pop-up will be home to free Wi-Fi and an open working space. Samples of the airline’s delicious food, as well as wine courtesy of New Zealand’s most celebrated producers, will be available throughout the entire residency.

The inflight seating that keeps Air New Zealand head-and-shoulders above other airlines in the comfort stakes will be on site including the Business Premier seats, complete with memory foam mattress, duvet and pillows, offering a great night’s sleep whether up in the air or on the ground. Sitting alongside it will be the innovative Economy Skycouch™, perfect for couples wanting to spread out or parents who need a play area for the kids, and the new Premium Economy luxurious leather seat.

Air New Zealand’s “This Is How We Fly” is open to the public to drop in for free on Tuesday 25th April and Wednesday 26th April at Unit London Gallery, 147 Wardour Street, London, W1F 8WD.
