Martell launches exclusive cognac experience at Mondrian London

From the 12th April to 6th May, Martell will host two exclusive experiences at Mondrian London to celebrate the heritage of this classic cognac.

Guests will be invited to challenge their taste buds by growing their understanding of cognac, teasing their curiosity and being taken on a journey of cognac discovery.

The Martell Bar, exclusively at Mondrian London, will serve a small selection of cocktails created by the skilled Mondrian Dandelyan bar. Challenging the perception of cognac being drunk neat, the menu will bring a modern and interesting twist to showcase its versatility. Alongside the cocktail list there will also be cognac flights available, showcasing the VSOP, Cordon Bleu & XO Martell expressions.

The Martell Suite will be a limited edition, ticketed experience taking place in a hidden apartment within Mondrian London. Guests will be welcomed to the suite with a Cognac-based Milk Punch and then introduced to a special gourmand serve. They will be given a tutored tasting of the Martell higher style expressions from Matthias Lataille, Martell’s Ambassador. The bespoke experience will take place from the 26th-29th April & 3rd-6th May with two sessions per night, bookable exclusively online.

Martell, founded by Jean Martell, dates back to 1715 and is the oldest of the major cognac houses. Famed for its delicately fragrant and elegant styles, Martell’s double distillation method makes its cognacs lighter and smoother, while the exclusive use of fine grain oak barrels creates mellow, light and more fragrant characteristics.

The Martell Bar at Mondrian London will take place Wednesday to Saturday from 12th April to 6th May, opening from 5pm - close.

The Martell Suite will take place from the 26th-29th April & 3rd-6th May with 2 sessions per night from 7pm- 9pm and 9pm-11pm. Tickets for the event will be priced at £45 and available to buy via Eventbrite.
