Although still a relative newcomer to the international jazz scene, Award-winning Hungarian vocalist Cintia Horváth is already making quite a name for herself. After initial studies as a classical singer she realised that jazz was really where her heart lay and went on to study jazz vocals at the highly regarded Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. She has been running her own bands since 2015 and in that time has appeared at major venues around Hungary, most notably winning the "Best Soloist" at this year's prestigious Mupa Jazz event, held annually at Mupa Budapest (formerly the Palace of Arts). Tonight she will be accompanied by a UK rhythm section featuring some of the finest musicians on the scene, Tom Cawley-piano, Flo Moore-bass and Chris Higginbottom-drums performing music that will be a mix of classic jazz standards and Cintia's own exciting and engaging originals. The evening promises to be a wonderful night of pan-European musical collaboration of the highest standard and is highly recommended.

"The Cintia Horváth Quintet dramatically interpreted standards and ballads..." Downbeat
