The SES Explorer Awards is the Scientific Exploration Society’s flagship event and it epitomizes the reason for the existence of the SES today. This prestigious event, now in it’s fourth year, celebrates the ‘Pioneers with Purpose’ in whose capable hands the future of scientific exploration lies following on from Colonel John Blashford-Snell and colleagues who founded the SES in 1969.
Join us to celebrate the successes of Exploration and Leadership and see the 'Pioneers with Purpose' receiving their SES Explorer Award. There will be talks and films from guest speakers, and from the past and present Award Winners joining us from around the world. 2017 winners come from 3 different continents.
