Lunchtime Special: Sherborne School Swing Band Directed By James Henderson

As part of the 606 Club's ongoing policy of supporting young musicians, today we play host to Sherborne School’s Swing Band. Made up of pupils aged 14 to 18 this 20 piece band (yes, 20 of them!) play a diverse range of jazz from swing to Latin. The band is considered to be one of the leading school jazz bands in the UK and biannually tours Barbados, St Lucia and Grenada (in my day we were lucky to get to Slough!). Should be an entertaining afternoon's music.
